These are paddle type mixers for handling powder materials along with water addition.
In the 1st case i.e type A, the exhaust of the Telescopic chute (TC) is to be connected to a nearby DE system suction dust at Customer’s site. In pipe type Telescopic chute on such provision is there. The TC s can be suspended from hopper flange or installed on platform. The operation is through Pendant push button station at the ground level. The mode of operation can be automatic incremental lift controlled by sensor and timer or by manual inching method i.e to raise the chute by a distance as the material heap builds up.
EEPL manufactures the following basic types of Telescopic chutes
In type A & B several buckets are suspended from one another by 3-equally spaced ropes. Another set of 3- pulling ropes lift the bottom bucket by the arrangement of geared motor rope drums and guide pulleys. The above arrangement is mounted in a casing which is installed on a platform below the discharging hopper and the inlet flange is connected to the hopper outlet through flexible connection. A rubber bellow is provided around the buckets leaving a annular space between the outside of bucket and inside of bellow. One end of the bellow is connected to the bottom bucket whereas the top end is clamped to casing. The casing being provided with an exhaust nozzle connected to a DE system, whatever dust is generated at the discharge end is sucked up through the annular space between the bucket and bellow. This feature is common for all 3-types of Telescopic chutes.
